PubPartout strives to leave no market untouched and is alarmed at the unusued advertising space on college and university campuses around the world.
True, most schools have exclusivity agreements with food service companies, there are plenty of ads in the washroom stalls and whole faculties are named after corporations, but that doesn’t go far enough!
We hope to take on-campus branding to the next level. We’re talking about every faculty, department and even subject sponsored by one corporation or another. We’re talking about ads on and in textbooks. We’re talking about the institutions themselves named after corporations.
If there can be a Bell Centre, why not a Wal-Mart University, Nike Faculty of Labour Law, Molson School of Business (er, that one happened already, but anyways) or even a Macdonald’s Campus (close enough).
We will be trying to spread the good commercial word at Montreal’s Concordia University first, then hopefully move on to UQAM and other fine, untouched places.
We’re always looking for new team members, so why not join us?
It looks like we’ll get our wish sooner rather than later as there is quite a push towards the private sector on campus already:
